is it just me, or did anthropic just kill the $20 plan today?

saw the news about Anthropic yesterday that they pulled the $20 plan, and i started thinking about all the new college grads out there who are already working one or two jobs to make rent. for them $100 a month is a lot. especially if you are in a country where $100 is close to a monthly salary. feels like a weird move to me. what do you all think? my guess is this is gonna push more of the community toward local models, and that pressure is what ends up making local models better than the paid
