Ask HN: Is the Job Market Actually Bad?

I’m not trying to brag, I am just genuinely confused. I got laid off recently and I had a new job within a week because I constantly get contacted by recruiters both through LinkedIn and directly by email. I’ve never sent an application to anyone and I’ve had dozens of interviews in the past year while I was looking for a new job before getting laid off.<p>I would have had a new one earlier except I was aiming for fully remote and a big raise, and I failed their correspondingly difficult evaluat
