SK 海力士開始量產 192GB SOCAMM2 記憶體模組,專為 NVIDIA AI 伺服器設計

SK hynix just started mass producing a 192GB SOCAMM2 memory module designed for next-generation AI servers, tackling one of the biggest bottlenecks in modern AI systems. Instead of traditional server RAM, it uses LPDDR5X technology (the same type found in smartphones), which delivers more than double the bandwidth while cutting power consumption by over 75 percent compared to standard RDIMM modules. The module is being built specifically for NVIDIA's upcoming Vera Rubin platform, signaling this is all about feeding massive AI workloads with more efficient memory.
