Starbucks' new ChatGPT ordering feature is hilariously broken

星巴克 ChatGPT 點餐功能根本是災難,比直接用 App 還麻煩

Starbucks just launched a ChatGPT integration for ordering, and it's somehow worse than just using the app. Instead of the usual four taps, you now have to type out your entire order in natural language to ChatGPT, which then has to figure out what you actually want. The writer's simple "venti iced coffee with light skim milk" order turned into a complete mess—ChatGPT kept misunderstanding, asking clarifying questions, and generally making the whole process slower and more annoying than literally any other way to order coffee. It's a perfect example of AI being shoehorned into places where it absolutely doesn't belong. Read the full breakdown at The Verge to see exactly how badly this went.
